Codger Coins wants shipping and returns to be straightforward. This page explains how orders are prepared and shipped, what to do if something arrives damaged or materially different from the listing, and how return requests are handled.
Shipping rates and methods
Available shipping methods and charges are shown during checkout before you place an order. The method offered may depend on the destination, order value, size, weight, insurance availability, and the items being shipped.
We may use a shipping carrier or service that provides tracking and, when appropriate, insurance or signature confirmation. The tracking information provided by the carrier is the best source for delivery-status updates after a package leaves our hands.
When orders ship
Orders are prepared for shipment after payment is confirmed and any necessary order review is complete. If a specific shipping or handling time is shown on a product page or at checkout, that stated time applies. Otherwise, we will ship within the time required by applicable law and will contact you if an unexpected delay requires your approval or cancellation of the unshipped order.
Because many coins and collectibles are unique, we take reasonable care in packing and documenting the item before shipment.
Delivery problems, loss, or damage
If tracking shows a problem, a package arrives visibly damaged, or the contents appear to have been damaged in transit, contact Codger Coins promptly. Please keep the packaging and shipping materials until the issue is resolved, and provide photos when they help document the condition of the package or item.
Carrier claims, insurance claims, replacements, refunds, or other resolutions depend on the circumstances of the shipment and the available carrier protections. We will work with you in good faith to determine the appropriate next step.
Return requests
If you believe an item was materially misdescribed, the wrong item was sent, or there is another problem with your order, contact us promptly before sending anything back. Please include the order number and a short explanation of the issue.
Do not return an item without contacting Codger Coins first. If a return is approved, we will provide the return instructions and confirm how return shipping and any refund will be handled for that situation.
Condition of returned coins and collectibles
Approved returns must come back in the same condition in which they were received. Certified coins should remain in their original third-party holders. Raw coins, packaging, labels, certificates, accessories, and other included materials should not be altered, cleaned, removed, damaged, or substituted.
A return may be refused or adjusted if the item has been altered after delivery or if the returned item is not the same item that was shipped.
Buyer review before purchase
Coins and collectibles are often unique, and normal differences in color, toning, strike, surface appearance, holder condition, or photography can matter to collectors. Please review the listing description and available photos before purchasing and ask questions when something is important to your decision.
Our Authenticity Commitment explains how Codger Coins distinguishes certified coins, raw coins, photographs, descriptions, and opinions.
Marketplace purchases
Purchases made through Whatnot, eBay, Etsy, or another third-party marketplace may be governed by that marketplace’s shipping, return, refund, and dispute rules. When marketplace rules apply to a transaction, those rules may control the process for that purchase.
Questions about an order
If you have a shipping or return question, use the Contact page and include your order number when available. We would rather address a problem directly than leave you wondering what to do next.
